THERE'S AN OLD MAN
IN THE GARDEN
There's an old man
in the garden talking to others
that they can not see
Talking to his roses
gently
This one is for Mum
This one is Suzi
Giving each one love and attention
smiling as he moves from one to another
Finding peace in his soul
and hearing voices of those loved ones
no one else can hear
There's an old man in the garden
and when I look in the mirror
I see that old man
is me
